Bath-independent transition probabilities in the dissipative Landau-Zener problemSigmund Kohler, Peter Hänggi, and Martijn Wubsin Path Integrals: New Trends and Perspectives, edited by W. Janke and A. Pelster (World Scientific, Singapore, 2008), p.456-461 We study Landau-Zener transitions of a two-level system that is coupled to a quantum heat bath at zero temperature. In particular, we reveal that for a whole class of models, the probability for a nonadiabatic transition is bath-independent. |
